The sunscreen article I came upon was about the lack of sunscreen kids use. They posted statistics on what age groups use sunscreen and how not many kids use it. It talked about how most teenagers like the appearance of looking tan so they refrain from using sunscreen. This article was trying to get the message out about skin cancers and how more kids need to be using sunscreen. Kids are at a high risk of getting skin cancer so this article was trying to make kids aware of the effects of not using sunscreen.
The next feature story I read was a list of 9 things that Jillian Michaels can't live without. It was very informative on items that would be very useful. She talked about alternative products to use that were non-toxic and less harmful to your body. I thought this was an intruiging article because I learned about organic products I didn't know about. I also learned about how some of the everyday products I use can be harmful to me. It was a good, attention grabbing, and informative article.
The first one is great because people don't want to accept the reality of the dangers of sun, it also applies to a lot of people. The second one would be applicable to those who like Jillian Michaels or follow her instruction to live a healthier life...however, does it really reach a large audience? I think it could be a borderline feature...either good or bad :)
