Proverbs 1

The verse from Proverbs that stuck out to me was 1:10  My son, if sinners entice you, don't consent.

I think that this verse is saying that you shouldn't give in to bad peer pressure.  If you friends are trying to get you to do something that you know is wrong, then you shouldn't follow them.  This verse stuck out to me because it makes me think about all the peer pressure we go through everyday. 
The next time one of my friends asks me to do something I know will get me in trouble, I will think about this verse and step away from the situation.

    It is a fact of life, especially in High School, that peer pressure and temptations are all around you. But you have the right idea, stay on track and follow what you know and believe is right.

    Miss Sandbulte, I believe I stuck to following for what I thought was right this week. I was tempted to ring some people's necks, (specifically Jordan's) but I held back and didn't let him get to me. I will keep on fighting the temptation to give in to the pressures of my surroundings.
